2011 Fashion Trends for Women

Who Do You Want to Be Today?
Well, what kind of woman do you want to be? It doesn’t really matter what your age is. It’s your life and, starting in 2011, you get to be the real you. I have declared this to be so. And, here are some of the easiest, universal 2011 fashion trends for women.
Military Trend for Women
Do you want to be a hard corps girl?
Well, we are still marching onward and upward to the beat of the military band, but now a hint of Russian army has been added for winter 2011. If this type of coat or jacket looks good on you, you can build your whole winter wardrobe around one snappy coat.
Wear a bright blue or green military coat with long over-the-knee boots that reach the hem of your coat and you will be a super-freak of fashion, baby. Ain’t no one gonna bring you down.
Lace, Lace Baby
If you have anything lacey in the back of your closet, bring it out and try it on with everything you own. While wild lace outfits work on runway models, I don’t think that most of you are going to be wearing any scary lace ensembles.
Instead you might want to grab some punky, lacey fingerless black gloves or a see-through lace dress. Though, please don’t set yourself up for failure. Please wear a slip or a cami and jeans-jeggings underneath the dress.
Lace Up Booties and Boots - Ongoing 2011 Fashion Trend for Women
You can find anything you want. Try on a pair of sexy lace-up boots or military cadet boots. It just depends who you are deep down inside (at that moment).
And, if you want to be a sexy female dandy candy girl or an over-the-top hottie, you can find the perfect ankle boots for that, too.

Trends That Look Good on Every Woman
Chunky Knit Sweaters for All Womankind
If you are tall and skinny, wear that chunky knit. If you are not tall and thin, find other ways to twirl those knits in places that won’t make you look like a marshmallow. Suggestions:
- chunky knit scarf, see photo
- chunky knit long scarf (left hanging free) in amazing, bright colors
- chunky knit fingerless gloves
- chunky pin-on knit or crocheted flowers or bows
- chunky knit hat
A Chic Trench Coat in Every Color
There is no woman alive who can’t look fabulous in a trench coat. I have one that’s a reversible black/bronze, a cheetah print trench (ala Vegas divorcee) from one of those shopping channels, a purple raincoat trench, and a hot pink trench. One of these coats goes on every vacation I take. No matter what the climate or weather, there are so many things you can do with a trench. It’s the outerwear version of a DVF wrap dress.
Sexy Leggings and Opaque Tights
Teens already know how to wear these, but if you are older, here’s one of the easiest ways. Wear your leggings or tights with a mini-length or knee-length trenchcoat or other jacket. It’s the ultimate throw-on combo for day’s when you’re running late. Wear your leggings or opaque tights with ankle booties or chic lace-up boots. (Hint: If you think you might have to take off your trench, wear a T-shirt dress under your trench.)
